The first ever international class gem magazine of Sri Lanka was ceremoniously introduced to His Excellency the President Maithreepala Sirisena at the recently concluded jewels 2015 exhibition by the chief editor of the magazine. The President was in full of praise for “Tourmaline Lanka” for venturing into such a deed and he appreciated the fact that Tourmaline Lanka is doing a ground breaking work to regain the popularity enjoyed well over several millennia as a gem producing country. He further stated that this gemological publication would bring immense publicity to the trade. Also in the picture Mr Thilak Mendis the president of gemologist association of Sri Lanka who is a deputy superintend of customs.
